How to wash and sanitize kids’ clothes
Get rid of the excess
First you need to remove excess dirt. A simple scraping or quick rinse may help you in your purpose. Once this step is done, let's see how to treat the most frequent stains.
Chocolate
Chocolate is every child's delight, these stains are among the most frequent, let's see how to treat them. First pre-treat or prewash the garment in lukewarm water with an enzyme-based product or use a pre-wash stain remover. You can then proceed by washing normally in the washing machine. If the stain persists, you can consider washing the garment again with a bleach-safe detergent for the fabric.
Juice
All children love juices, but more often than not they end up spilling it down their clothes. Soak the garment in cold water for 30 minutes. Lightly apply white vinegar to the remaining stain and let it sit for another 30 minutes. Wash normally in the washing machine with bleach-safe detergent for the fabric.
Paints
Let children express their creativity by painting. Although you can be sure, once the work is finished more will be on their clothes than on the canvas! But let's see how to remove paint stains: if the paint is still wet, remove as much as possible with a paper towel and rinse the fabric in hot water before washing it in the washing machine. If the stain is already dry, it is best to turn to a dry cleaner!
Grass
Kids love to play outdoors and what's better than a nice green lawn to jump, run, roll on? Grass stains are among the most difficult to clean, as chlorophyll lurks in the fibers, so the sooner you treat the stain, the better the effect will be. First treat the stain with a prewash spray. Then wash in the washing machine with an enzymatic detergent and the hottest water that is safe for the fabric.
Create a uniform
Finally, you could consider creating a "uniform" for your child. Old comfortable clothing that may be slightly too small or torn, are perfect for your child to wear when they are engaging in messy activities that will inevitably end up ruining their best outfits.
The range of Hoover washing machines are excellent for sanitizing your children's clothes in order to always keep it safe from dirt and bacteria. They also have dedicated programs that will help you easily remove stains, such as BABY 60°C. This program allows you to wash all baby clothes getting a perfect clean, setting the temperature at 60°C minimum. To optimize the result of the sanitizing effect we recommend the use of powder detergent.
